How can I tell if the pain I'm experiencing is actually angina?

Here are some signs that the pain you may be experiencing could be angina:
- Pain mostly felt beneath sternum. Pain will vary in intensity from a vague ache to a crushing sensation
-The pain radiates out to the left shoulder and travels inside the left arm, throat or jaw
- The experience is brought on by physical activity or cold air
- Symptoms persist no more than a few minutes.
